Five teams have now dropped out of first South American RMR tournament of the year.
Isurus and Jaguares became on Wednesday the latest squads to withdraw from CBCS Elite League Season 1, the first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament in South America this year, due to VAC bans.
Isurus had initially announced that the team's analyst, Rodrigo "pino" Manarino, would replace André "drop" Abreu while they conducted an investigation into a VAC-banned account allegedly owned by the Brazilian player. But when FURIA, who own drop's rights, announced that the player had confessed to owning a VAC-banned account because of a skin changer tool, Isurus were left with no choice but to leave the event.

"Unfortunately, due to the recent announcement of FURIA where they communicated that drop actually confessed to having a VAC ban, we have decided to cancel our participation in CBCS," Isurus said in a statement.
"We are completely disappointed with the situation. Hopefully it will serve to raise awareness that this type of selfish and unprofessional attitude does nothing but harm all the professionals in the scene: tournament organizers, teams, players, staff, who do their job legitimately. This type of conduct goes against the values of our organization and directly impacts the emotions of an entire group of people that do nothing but fight for their dreams."
Jaguares' decision to leave the tournament comes just days after the organisation publicly defended Emerson "desh" Enrique, stating that it wasn't the player who cheated but his cousin. "We are still waiting for a reply from Valve," Jaguares said on Wednesday, adding that they hope to prevent "further attrition" in the squad with this decision.
Isurus and Jaguares had a 1-2 record in the CBCS Elite League Season 1 Swiss stage and were due to play each other in the fourth round of the tournament. Following the pair's withdrawals, the match-ups were redrawn, with Furious and Meta Academy being handed walkover victories.
The news will plunge the CBCS Elite League into further turmoil after Keyd, Bears and DETONA had previously withdrawn from the RMR competition due to allegations of players owning VAC-banned accounts. Valve recently announced that players who have received VAC bans will be allowed to compete in its tournaments provided that at least five years have passed since the ban came into effect.
